School of Business and Economics Faculty and Instructors' research interests lie in applied business and economics areas, notably in financial economics, investment portfolio analysis, shipping and logistics, tourism and food, human resources management and entrepreneurship management. They regularly publish articles in leading international business and economics journals, such as Oxford Economic Papers; European Financial Management; Energy Economics; European Journal of Finance; Journal of Common Market Studies; Transportation Research Part A and Part E; Annals of Tourism Research; Food Quality and Preference and Foods. School of Business and Economics Faculty and Instructors have strong links with the local and the international academic community in their specific fields, co-authoring research papers and grant proposals, as well as serving as journal associate editors. They regularly present their research in national and international conferences organized by academic institutions, associations and societies.
