Deree is the undergraduate division of The American University of Greece.
It offers an American-modeled education and comprises three Schools: the School of Business and Economics, the School of Science and Technology, and the Frances Rich School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. It offers 33 innovative majors and 65 minors through a diverse undergraduate curriculum consisting of more than 1,000 courses. Its degrees are accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) and validated by the Open University of the United Kingdom (OU).
Students specialize in their chosen area of concentration while enjoying a low faculty-to-student ratio, experiential learning, internships and competitive group project experiences, as well as on-campus job recruiting. At the same time, they join a vibrant student community where they engage in extracurricular activities and meet like-minded fellow students through a rich selection of clubs, societies and organizations.
Deree boasts an international faculty of PhD and well-qualified adjunct instructors whose impressive research, scholarship and executive credentials collectively create a student-centered classroom and campus experience like no other in Southeast Europe.
Committed to its mission of supporting students’ academic dreams regardless of their means, Deree offers over €10 million in scholarships and financial aid.
