The purpose of the STEM Labs is to serve as multi-disciplinary labs for a variety of topics related to Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics. These state-of-the-art facilities are equipped with top-notch technological equipment. The lab contains benches and equipment for experimentation in electronics, embedded systems, digital signal processing, robotics and biomedical systems, among others. It covers research activities related to innovative ways of teaching and learning strategies in STEM disciplines, active and experiential learning including sustainability initiatives in higher education.
The American University of Greece contributes to the strengthening of our common values and to the creation of innovative platforms, such as laboratories, for the exchange of ideas and knowledge between Americans and Greeks. With the STEM Labs, AUG will expand the opportunities for its students by offering degrees in STEM Science while, at the same time, students will benefit from the Physics Lab, taking advantage of the newly renovated facilities.
